ImPACT Baseline Concussion Test
The AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League is making it MANDATORY that every player on every team take the ImPACT Baseline Concussion Test to be eligible to play in the league. The test may be taken as follows:
1. Sylvan Learning Center: 10455 N. Central expwy, suite 111, Dallas 75231;214.342.3305...call and make an individual appointment and tell them you are with AT&T High School Hockey.
2.  Call 214-345-5025 or e-mail Ben Drake at Benjamindrake@texashealth.org and schedule a personal appointment to take the test at their offic at 7115 Greenville Ave. #320, Dallas 75231
3. Home Test: Click on the link above and it will take you to further information regarding concussions and the baseline test. Select AT&T Hockey League when asked organization.  The test should be done in a quiet room with no distractions. 

After players have completed the test please e-mail team managers with the date they took the test, how they took the test and their date of birth.

The league is taking a strong stance on concussions and how quickly a player can come back.Below is an excerpt from a memo sent out by the league:

"It is strongly recommended that any player who receives a concussion during At&t League play sit out a minimum of 14 days.  The league encourages players to be examined by, and obtain a signed written medical release from, a MD/DO before they return to play.  It is suggested that any player without
the written release should not participate in practices or games until after 
the 14th day period."
